Paul Martinka is an award-winning photojournalist. Over his 15-year-career, he has covered everything from breaking news and sports to celebrities and corporate events. Entirely self-taught, he picked up his camera at age 23, and has not put it down ever since. He has been a regular contributor to the New York Post, Splash News, Polaris Images and Corbis Images since 2001. He comes from Czechoslovakia, lives in New York.

Doc. Mgr. art. Jana Hojstričová, ArtD. graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. She has taken part in various exhibitions and photo festivals, such as the Month of Photography Festival in Bratislava, the International Festival of Young Photography in Ljubljana, Septembre de la Photographie in Lyon or Mois de la Photo in Paris (France). At present, she works as a photographer and a pedagogue at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.

Yuri Kozyrev

Yuri Kozyrev has been working as a photo journalist for over 25 years. His pictures have documented all major conflicts in Russia and across the world. Between 2002 and 2009, he worked in Baghdad as a contract photographer for the Time Magazine. He has received numerous honours for his photography, including several World Press Photo Awards, the Infinity Award for Photojournalism (2006), Main Frontline Club Award (2008) or Visa d´Or News. His works have been exhibited all over the world. He is the founding member of the internationally renowned NOOR photography collective and agency based in Amsterdam.

Roman Vondrouš

Roman Vondrouš has been shooting since childhood, seriously so since 2000, when he was drawn to sports photography, especially horse races. He covered the Olympic Games many times. Since 2005, he has been a photo reporter for the Czech News Agency, bringing photo news on a daily basis. He has obtained various awards in the Czech Press Photo contest, and in 2013 he won the 1st prize of the World Press Photo contest in the “Sports” category.

Ján Šibík is well-known for his photographs that cover war and conflict zones. He is a prize-winning photographer of the World Press Photo contest. He has won a prize in the Czech Press Photo contest 43 times. He was also awarded the Grand Prix in the Golden Prisma Award contest. Since 1993, Ján Šibík has been working as a photo reporter for the Reflex magazine. In the course of his professional mission, he has travelled to more than 200 places all around the world to produce photo reports.

Prof. Mgr. Jindřich Štreit

Prof. Mgr. Jindřich Štreit is a Czech photographer, a university pedagogue, a curator, and an organiser of cultural life. In his work he has focused on life in villages and people living in the Czech countryside. He has so far produced 950 exhibitions of various authors, he is also the author of 29 publications, and his works form an integral part of the most significant collections. Several films have been shot on Jindřich Štreit. At present, he teaches at the Institute of Creative Photography in Opava (Czech Republic).

During his over 30-year career, Pavel Neubauer has been covering everyday life. Thanks to his work in a news agency, he has travelled all over the world and covered nearly all the most important events related to the development of the young Slovak Republic. He took particular liking to sports photography. In the first year of the SLOVAK PRESS PHOTO contest, he won the 1st prize in the category “News”, and the “Visitors´ Prize”. He currently works as a photojournalist for the News Agency of the Slovak Republic (TASR).
